Women & the Wilderness

Dec 3, 2020

Our love for Colorado over here at Women & the Wilderness is no secret. During Hannah’s last trip to Colorado she finally visited the Crystal Mill, after years of waiting. It lived up to and exceeded every idea she had about it. During her visit, she learned a lot about the history and that the Crystal Mill is actually in danger of being closed down if it is purchased by a private buyer.

After learning of the Crystal Mill Foundation and the work that Heather, the foundations President, is doing to raise money to save the mill it made Hannah’s experience that much sweeter.

This episode is all about the Crystal Mill and its rich Coloradan history. Heather dives deep into the history of the mill and why it is so special, she offers ways we can help save the mill and what would happen if the Crystal Mill Foundation was able to purchase and preserve the mill.
